This weekend, I'm off to the Food Bloggers Of Canada's first ever food bloggers conference.
To say I'm excited is a bit of an understatement.
To say I'm excited is a bit of an understatement.
To show you what I'm in for, think of the best wedding you've ever been to, while sitting in on an episode of Oprah's Favorite Gifts, being surrounded by people that have an intense love of food and blogging as much as you do, served up in a complimentary glass with a tiny umbrella and you have my upcoming weekend.
I know, right?
So while this Mama is noshing on some of the most amazing food I will ever eat, conversing in some amazing conversation, sipping some amazing wine, my husband will be holding down the fort on the homestead. I have absolutely no reservations leaving him to it, but guilty mommy has been digging her perfectly manicured nails into my heart, making it a bit hard for me to leave. I've never been away from my babies for this long.
To soften the blow on their end at least, I made these.
I think it's an appropriate treat considering they will all probably go bananas at some point.
And I wouldn't be surprised to find them swinging from the chandelier upon my return.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the love, Kat! The conference was AMAZING and my family survived, so it was a good weekend all around! XO
DeleteOne more sleep!!! Maybe we should fast today to save room. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a good mom you are!
Ha! XO
DeleteThese look and sound ridiculously yummy! I need to make these soon. It looks like you had an amazing time at the conference, and now I wonder why we don't have a FB"A" conference here, unless they DO which means I wasn't invited and I am sad now. ;) If they DON'T have one, I may need to get one started!
ReplyDeleteThanks Diana! The conference was AMAZING! I think there are a lot of good conferences to hit up in the US, but not an official FBA, although that would be awesome! Thanks for the love, as always! XO
